Titles

 What are title sequences

The title sequences are the prelude to the start of the film. They are for the audience to engage them and to maybe hint towards the film to come, title sequences they are able to establish what the tone and theme of the film through the font and style in which they present the titles. 



Why are they included

The title sequence are able to hint to the audience about what the film may be and about by showing a sense of tone through the colour and theme of the font, with potentially a soundtrack in the background.

The pace of the credits can dictate to the audience can dictate the style of the film too for example if its quick and sharp could be representing an action film if its slow moving could be representing a horror or a sad film.
